The subject of the invention is a method for making a decorative object. A transparent bulb 12 is formed, preferably out of glass. Using two glass panes 1,2 a few millimetres thick and a distance piece, a leakproof transparent bulb is formed, three sides of which are bonded with a silicon adhesive. After drying is complete, the distance piece is removed and a mechanical vacuum of from 0 to 4 millimetres of Hg is created. After closure and drying off, the mineral or metallic sands or powders are introduced in the following proportions: - 1/2 sands or powders; - 1/2 liquid made up of water and a surface-active agent (1.5% of the volume of water). The surface-active agent may be a soap or other similar chemical. The sands must be different as to their particle sizes and colours. Decorative objects. <IMAGE>
