PURPOSE:To prevent an outboard motor from penetrating into a hull and thereby enlarging an effective space, by making a slide member movable along upper and lower guide channels formed in left and right arm members upon kick-up of the outboard motor. CONSTITUTION:When an obstacle collides with a front lower portion of an outboard motor 2, a second reverse lock 18 is unlocked to disengage a bracket 5 from a hull 3 and thereby move the bracket 5 together with the outboard motor 2 through upper and lower rollers 11, 12 and 13, 14 along upper and lower guide channels 6, 7 and 8, 9. The upper and lower guide channels 6, 7 and 8, 9 are formed along loci of movement of the upper and lower rollers 11, 12 and 13, 14 about a center area A formed at the upper end portion of the outboard motor 2 on the hull side, that is, a front upper portion of an engine 2a. Accordingly, the outboard motor 2 is rearwardly rotated about the center area A, and is kicked up. |
