On a conveyor belt, a frame is placed so that it extends over the soldering shaft, and its upper covering consists of a magnetically conducting material. Detachable holding hooks are fixed at predetermined points of the printed-circuit board to be soldered, and their upper parts, which face away from the printed-circuit board, are fitted with permanent magnets. These magnets become attached to the upper covering of the frame, so that the printed-circuit board is held firmly at predetermined points, which can be arbitrarily chosen, and guided over the soldering shaft at a predetermined distance.
