<p>Using spiral compressors for compressible media and liquids, which compressors have a wrapping angle of at most approximately 540 DEG , only a relatively low compression pressure can be achieved. In the case of spiral compressors whose generator poles associated with the individual spiral courses are at a distance from one another, considerable torques are exerted on the compressors. So as to largely eliminate said torques and to increase the compression pressure, it is proposed according to the invention to design a spiral compressor in such a way that at least two intermeshing external spiral-shaped pumping ducts, which have a wrapping angle of at least 360 DEG , communicate with at least one internal spiral-shaped pumping duct having a wrapping angle of at least 360 DEG . <IMAGE></p> |
