What is indicated is a welded joint between a metal concertina and a metal pipe of a line for a gaseous or liquid medium, especially for an exhaust-gas line of internal-combustion engines for motor vehicles, the concertina rim to be welded to the pipe being provided with an attached and/or inserted welding sleeve, and the weld seam being designed as a continuous fillet seam between the end edge of the concertina rim and sleeve and the pipe wall on the other hand. At the same time, the welding sleeve is provided with a slot which extends over its length and by means of which it can be varied within limits in respect of its diameter and, in particular, can be adapted to the dimensions of the concertina rim.
