The invention relates to a post/crosspiece/facade profile body for windows and French doors made of metal, consisting of a tubular, room-side inner profile element for post and crosspiece, an outer profiled covering strip lying opposite the inner profile element at a distance, and a sealing device situated between them for receiving the insulating glazing, with sealing elements for sealing the inner space against penetrating air and moisture, the inner profile element, the covering strip and the sealing device being detachably interconnected and the latter having two mutually insulated drainage chambers each assigned to an insulating glass pane. To avoid any cold bridges between the supporting inner construction and the outer covering strip as well as to simplify the known facade profile body construction from the point of view of construction and mounting, it is proposed that the inner profile element is a pipe which is provided on its front side which faces the sealing device with a longitudinal slot and in which a plastic block is situated, the cross-section of which corresponds approximately to the cross-section of the pipe and which has at least one continuous bore which extends from the slot and which at least at its rear end is provided with a screw thread element, into which a ...
