A description is given of a holder for a radiator, in particular a panel-type radiator, provided with suspension lugs that are welded or riveted on in a concealed fashion, consisting of a mounting surface part having holes for mounting the holder on a wall surface, wall bracket, standing bracket or the like, and of a lug receiving part, which projects from the mounting surface and has a depression for receiving the suspension lug of the radiator, in the case of which holder in order to prevent lifting out there is provided in the region of the depression, preferably below the depression, at least one elongated perforation extending perpendicularly to the direction of the depression in order to receive an angular metal or plastic part which forms the nut of a safety screw (Fig. 5). <IMAGE>
