PURPOSE:To facilitate control of an amount to be electrified even in the case of using a positively electrifiable toner as a color toner by mixing a specified amount of an amino(meth)acrylic polymer or a styrene-amino(meth)acrylic copolymer and a specified amount of quaternary ammonium salt into a toner composition. CONSTITUTION:The toner composition contains (A) a styrene-acrylic copolymer resin having an acid value of <=20, a polyester resin, or an epoxy resin; (B) an styrene-amino(meth)acrylic copolymer or an amino(meth)acrylic polymer; and (C) 0.1-10pts.wt. of quaternary ammonium salt per 100pts.wt. of (A). (B) is used in an mount of (x) pts.wt. of (B) per 100pts.wt. of (A) so as to control (xy)>=300, where (y) is the amine value of (B). If the acid value of (A) is >20, decay of electrostatic charge becomes high, and it is preferred to control an acrylic monomer to styrene ratio of the polymer to 100:0-1:99. |
