PURPOSE:To display an original-side copy area corresponding to selected form size on an original platen by controlling the home position of a copy lamp unit according to the form size and copy magnification. CONSTITUTION:When a magnification setting signal is inputted and copy magnification is set, the quantity L of scanning by the copy lamp unit 7 based upon the front end of an original as a reference point is determined from the size of forms which are put in a cassette and set in a machine and copy magnification, and the position of a zoom lens 10 is controlled on the basis of the copy magnification. The copy lamp unit 7 moves from the position at the end of last copying operation to the end point in current scanning on the basis of the arithmetic value calculated from the form size and copy magnification. This position is displayed on the original platen 1 by an original rear end indication plate 5 and the copy area on the original platen 1 corresponding to the form size is indicated. |
