Arrangement for framework which consists of a number of rigidifying elements, partly embodied as upright pillars and partly embodied as lying elements in the form of beams as well as connections. Arranged in such a manner that the elements are mutually connected as well as to the adjacent structures and first and foremost to the base which supports the framework. At least some of the connections have the form of a parallelepipedal box, preferably with both sides open, from the end of which flanges extend outwardly from one or more of the sides. The latter are rigidified against the sides of the box shape by means of support elements. The box shape and the flanges are formed in one piece from sheet metal which is slotted in the front part. The unslotted part forms the box shape while the flanges consist of the ends which are situated between the slots and bent out of the box shape. As beam, use is made of double profiles which are joined together by means of connecting pieces and between which an opening arises so that the beam can rest on one of said flanges, with the support element in the opening and the lower side of the beam resting against the flange.
