PURPOSE:To obtain a reduction ratio in accordance with the running condition of a vehicle to satisfy the travel feeling of the vehicle, by computing the reduction ratio in accordance with control signals from an automatic and manual change-over means and a shift position instructing means to drive a speed change gear drive means. CONSTITUTION:A reduction ratio control mean 2 is coupled with an automatic and manual change-over means 1 and a shift position instructing means 3, and computes a reduction ratio in accordance with a control signal for changing over the reduction ratio between the automatic control and the manual control and a control signal for changing the reduction ratio during manual control, in order to drive a speed change gear drive means 8. Accordingly, when the driver manipulates the automatic and manual change-over means 1 and the shift position instructing means 3, a reduction ratio suitable for the running condition of the vehicle may be obtained. |
