Guide sleeve with a striker for driving (bone) chips in bone

For improved guidance and simpler driving of (bone) chips in bone during specific operations, a chip is inserted in a guide sleeve and knocked in by striking on the striker. At the same time, the guide sleeve and the striker can be movable relative to one another or can be fixed. The guide sleeve end facing the substrate can be designed such that slipping of the guide sleeve off the substrate is prevented (spikes, geometric fitting). The guide sleeve end facing the substrate can be widened in order to ensure better striking on the substrate; however, in restricted operation conditions it should have thin walls. The guide sleeve can be designed with slots in the longitudinal direction in order to achieve a better access to the chip. For determination of the driving depth a length mark can be made on the striker. In order to facilitate handling in restricted operation conditions the guide sleeve or the striker can also be curved. In order to prevent slipping of the guide sleeve off the pre-chiselled bone cleft it is possible to provide a rail on the guide sleeve which can be inserted in the gap and can thus prevent slipping.
