<p>The housing (1) of the apparatus is of vertical arrangement and is divided by a partition wall (4) into a central (2) and an external part (3), so that sieve elements (5) form at least a certain part of it. The sieve elements (5) are arranged at an angle of up to 20o to the direction of the grain flow. Baffles (6) sloping outwards from the center of the housing (1) at an angle of 30-45o are arranged in the central part (2), while the external part (3) is provided with an overflow weir (14) and with an adjoining collecting channel (15) connected to the carrier circulating system. The common inlet of the material to be separated and the carrier medium as well as the outlet of the coarse grains (10) are connected to the central part (2) of the housing (1), while the outlet (16) of the fine grains is connected to the external part (3). The carrier medium circulating system may be closed or open and functions with gaseous or liquid medium. Accordingly, fan or pump and fine sludge- or dust separators are in the system. The sieve elements are replaceable and/or adjustable. The housing is preferably provided with flexible suspensions (19) and has a drive (17, 18) for improving the efficiency of the separation.</p> |
