PURPOSE:To increase current density of ion current flowing from a corona discharging electrode to a photosensitive body and to attain high speed copying by forming a linear discharging electrode on the surface of each substrate formed by fine ceramics as a corona discharging electrode and forming a plane-like induction electrode through the substrate. CONSTITUTION:In each electrode, a linear discharging electrode 9 is formed on the surface of the substrate formed by fine ceramics, the plane-like induction electrode 10 is embedded in the substrate 8 with thickness (t) and both the electrodes 10, 9 are opposed each other through at least a part of the thickness (t). Since there is no possibility of the generation of spark discharging between at least one corona discharging electrode out of a corona discharging electrode 2 for charging, a corona discharging electrode 5 for transfer and a destaticizing corona electrode 6 for discharging and a shielding case, the interval between the linear discharging electrode 9 and the induction electrode 10 can be reduced, the current density of ion current flowing from the corona discharging electrode to the surface of a case-like photosensitive body 1 can be remarkably increased and the copying speed can be extremely increased. |
