PURPOSE:To prevent a leakage accident by turning and pulling up a pressing metal of a pouring port base housing by an oil or air pressure and clamping the flange part of a cover housing having a sliding board thereby clamping the slide gate device with the uniform set pressure. CONSTITUTION:The cover housing 22 assembled with the sliding plate 12 and stationary plate 10 on a nozzle 65 is fitted to the pouring port base housing 9. A cylinder 28 and piston 66 of the base housing 9 are pushed up by the oil or air pressure and a shaft 67 is turned by a screw 75 provided thereto so that the flange part 23 of the cover housing 22 is uniformly clamped with the set pressure by the pressing metal 30 at the top end. The leakage accident of a molten metal is surely prevented by such uniform clamping. |
