A roller mill (2, 3, 4) having at least two, in particular at least three, rollers, (2, 3, and 4, respectively) which can be pressed against one another has a drawing-in roller (2) to which the material (7) to be ground can be fed. The material to be ground is then removed from a take-off roller (4) by means of a stripping device (5, 11). As is customary in the case of friction roller mills, each roller (3 and 4, respectively) which is respectively connected downstream in the direction of transport of the material has a higher circumferential speed than the respective previous one (2 or 3, respectively).
