Bituminous insulation material complying with fire classification M3, formed of a bituminous binder, particularly a polymer bitumen binder, in which mass an armature has been previously embedded. Said material comprises on top of the armature closest to its surface a bituminous binder thickness at the most equal to 0.8 mm, thereby providing it with properties enabling to comply with the criteria of fire classification M3. The permeable armature is for example a fabric or a non woven material of inorganic fibres, particularly glass fibres or organic synthetic fibres such as polyester fibres. When the bituminous binder is a polymer bitumen binder, the polymer present in the binder is particularly a sequenced copolymer of styrene and of a conjugated diene having elastomer properties. |
