Large-size textile-yarn package, preferably for dyeing, characterized in that the yarn is at least one interlaced textured synthetic continuous yarn having between 40 and 200 interlacing per metre, the package being of the cross-wound straight-flank type of a crossing of between 20 degrees and 45 degrees and of a density of between 0.10 g/cm**3 and 0.30 g/cm**3, the diameter of the package being larger than 50 cm and its weight being greater than 5 kilograms.
