PURPOSE:To detect the generation of acceleration more than a prescribed value on a traveling device by forming an inclined surface having an angle fixed in accordance with acceleration to be detected on the traveling device. CONSTITUTION:An acceleration detector 2 is provided with a pair of guide members 6, 7 forming an inclined surface having a prescribed angle and fixed on a fitting plate 1 by symmetrically positioned fixing members 4. An angle formed by the bent part and the fitting plate 1 is the angle of the inclined surface. The angle and the interval between the opposed guide members are determined to prescribed values in accordance with the diameter and weight of a sphere 8 and the size of acceleration to be detected. At a normal time, the sphere 8 is in a static state on the lowermost position between the members 6, 7. When acceleration more than the prescribed value is generated, the sphere 8 of the detector 2 is ascended while being rotated on any one of the members 6, 7 in accordance with the direction of the acceleration and microswitches 9, 10 symmetrically arranged are turned on to detect the generation of abnormal acceleration. |
