PURPOSE:To enhance bleach-fixability of a photosensitive material capable of both attaining superhigh sensitivity and preventing waste of resources by processing the photosensitive material having the whole constituent layers specified in thickness and an emulsion layer containing silver iodide and a binder having a specified swelling speed. CONSTITUTION:The photographic constituent layers comprises blue-sensitive, green-sensitive, and red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, and contains the total coated silver in an amount of <=50mg/dm<2>, and at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers contains silver halide grains containing >=0.5mol% silver iodide. The total thickness of the photographic constituent layers if <=25mum, and the binder has a swelling speed T 1/2 of <=25sec. Such a silver halide color photographic sensitive material is imagewise exposed and developed, and processed in a bleach-fixing bath containing at least one of an organic acid ferric salts, thus permitting rapid processing of the photosensitive material to be attained. |
