PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the heat-developable material, especially, heat-developable photosensitive material prevented from occurrence of cracks at the time of heat development. SOLUTION: The heat-developable image forming material is provided on a support with at least one heat-developable image forming layer having a thermal expansion coefficient of 0.9-1.5 and a surface protective layer having a thermal expansion coefficient of 0.9-1.0 and containing at least one kind of polymer latex having a glass transition point not higher than a heat developing temperature of 90-130 deg.C.
