PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a case for electronic equipment light in weight, excellent in operability and capable of easily protecting electronic equipment from rainwater or dust at low cost by joining plurally divided case main bodies through fitting sheets fit to each other through ruggedness. SOLUTION: This case is constituted of two members, that is, the case main body 11a formed in shape corresponding to most of the outer surface shape of the electronic equipment to be housed and the case main body 11b being the cover of the case main body 11a. By joining two case main bodies 11a and 11b, space 111 for housing the electronic equipment is formed inside. The fitting sheets 12a and 12b are welded at the aperture edges of the case main bodies 11a and 11b by a method such as high frequency welding, for example. By inserting a locking piece 141 in a gate type piece 142, the recessed part of the locking piece 141 is engaged in the projecting part of the gate type piece 142, whereby the main bodies 11a and 11b are locked. Since the main bodies 11a and 11b and the sheets 12a and 12b are formed of synthetic resin, the case is light in weight.
