发明名称 NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE:To increase charge-discharge cycle performance of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery by alloying lithium with an indium-lead alloy mainly comprising indium and containing a specified amount of lead, and using it as a negative electrode. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode 3 is formed with an indium-lead alloy mainly comprising indium and containing 0.2-45atom% of lead. The negative electrode 3 is placed inside a negative can 1, and combined with a separator 5, a positive electrode 6 mainly comprising titanium disulfide, and a lithium ion conductive nonaqueous electrolyte to form a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. Since electrochemical reaction rate of lithium with indium and lead is quickened, the reaction of deposited lithium with electrolyte and dendrytic growth of lithium are prevented, and charge-discharge cycle performance is increased.
