PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting jig of a long sub-component to a main component for building which is excellent in workability in the work. SOLUTION: A fitting jig of a long sub-component 3 to a main component for building which is used to fit the long sub-component 3 such as a runner to a flange 2a of the main component 2 such as an H-section steel comprises a pair of hooking parts 11 to be hooked to a flange inner surface 2b of the main component, a pair of contact parts 12 to be abutted on a flange outer surface 2c of the main component 2, and a fitting part 15 to fit the long sub- component 3. The jig can insert the flange 2a between a pair of hooking parts 11, 11, the abutting parts 12 are abutted on this flange 2a through the relative rotation around the crossing axis P with respect to the flange inner surface 2b or the flange outer surface 2c, and the hooking part 11 is hooked and connected thereby. The fitting part 15 in the connected condition to the flange 2a is separated from the flange outer surface 2c.
