发明名称 ORGANIC ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce a capacity change attendant on charge-discharge cycles by using lithium-containing manganese dioxide prepared by thermal decomposition of lithium potassium permanganate as a positive active material of organic electrolyte secondary battery. CONSTITUTION:Lithium-containing manganese dioxide (LiyMnO2) prepared by thermal decomposition of lithium potassium permanganate [(1-x)K.xLi.MnO4, 0.25<=x<=0.75)] obtain from lithium perchlorate (LiClO4) and potassium permanganate (KMnO4) is used as a positive active material of organic electrolyte secondary battery such as lithium secondary battery. The lithium content (y) of LiyMnO2 is specified to 0.3-0.8, and the temperature for thermal decomposition is specified to 250-350 deg.C. Thereby, a capacity change attendant on charge- discharge cycles of the battery is effectively reduced and cycle life is increased.
