PURPOSE:To facilitate replacement of a plate and to contrive assuredness and safety, by providing a plate-mounting mechanism by which a plate fed in through a plate guide means is fitted to a plate lock-up device of a plate cylinder and is brought into close contact with the surface of the cylinder through a plate-pressing roller, and a plate-dismounting mechanism having a plate drawing-out means comprising a clamp pin. CONSTITUTION:The plate guide means 9 for inserting the plate and feeding it in the direction of the plate cylinder, a lever 21 fitted with a roller 20, and the plate-pressing roller 19 for pressing the plate through a spring 22 and a stopper pin 23 are provided. The plate-mounting mechanism for fitting the plate fed in through the means 9 to the plate lock-up devices 12, 13 of the plate cylinder 1 and for bringing the plate into close contact with the surface of the plate cylinder through the roller 19 while rotating the plate cylinder 1, and the plate drawing-out means 28 comprising the clamp pin 30 at the tip of a coil spring 29 are provided. In addition, the plate-dismounting mechanism is provided by which the clamp pin 30 is clamped to an end of the plate wrapped around the plate cylinder 1 and is dismounted through the roller 19 which rotating the cylinder 1. The setting positions of the plate to the lock-up devices 12, 13 for the plate cylinders of a multicolor press are fixed, and plate mounting and dismounting switches are simultaneously operated to ensure that positions for mounting and dismounting the plate to plate cylinders are constantly fixed. |
