PURPOSE:To obtain a seat ring to which a seal ring is fitted so as not to come off even with no claming ring by a structure wherein elastic material is injected in the metallic seat ring, over the whole periphery in which a groove to fit the elastic seal ring is made, by means of a mold and, after that, the other mold is separated under the state that the elastic seal ring is fitted to the seat ring. CONSTITUTION:A groove 5 for fitting a rubber seal ring is made in a seat ring 4 in such a form that prevents the seal ring from coming off. Molten rubber is injected from an injection molder in a molding space S for the seal ring formed by the groove 5 and a recess 12 by assembling the seat ring 4 and a mold 10. After the molten rubber in the space S solidifies, only the mold 10 is separated in the state that the seal ring 6 is fitted to the seat ring 4 from the assembly of the seat ring 4 and the mold 10. Thus, the elastic seal ring 6 is surely prevented from coming off without increasing the number of parts. |
