PURPOSE:To prevent the warp of current collector by forming a positive current collector in a porous recessed and projecting part and in a peripheral flat part which is circularily pressed, and spot-welding the flat part to a positive case. CONSTITUTION:A current collector 4-2 of a positive electrode 4-1 is formed in a porous recessed and projecting part and in a peripheral flat part 4-2-1 which is circularily pressed, and the flat part 4-2-1 is spot-welded to a positive case 1 at one or more points. The positive electrode 4-1 mainly comprising activated carbon is accommodated in the positive case 1, and combined with a negative electrode 3 of lithium alloy and electrolyte comprising organic solvent in which lithium salt is dissolved, then the opening of the positive case 1 is bent inward through a sealing gasket 6 to seal a lithium battery. Thereby, since the current collector 4-2 is horizontally placed without the warp at its end, the battery is smoothly sealed and its leakage resistance can be increased. |
