PURPOSE:To execute enlarging and processing at arbitrary magnification at a high speed by enlarging and processing original image information by using a bit adding means that increases original image information periodically in unit of integer times of 2 and a sending means that sends out original image information as it is. CONSTITUTION:Periodicity is provided to bit added for enlarging, such as 1 bit at every 8 bits. In 9:10 enlarging of original image information, original image information of first and second byte SDATA 1, 2 is sent out as it is from a memory 3 to an output buffer 10 through a selector 8 as enlarged image information DATA 1, 2. Original image information 2(=N+1) is set to a shift register 91 and shifted to the left by 7(=8-N) and original image information 3(=N+2) is set to a shift register 92 and shifted to the right by 1(=N) bit and OR processed. Then, enlarged image information 3 of third byte is obtained in a register 95. Enlarged image information 3-9 is obtained by repeating similar process up to N=1-7. Image information 9 is sent out as it is as enlarged image information 10. |
