PURPOSE:To obtain a hair tonic containing a cyclosporin as an active component of the hair tonic in combination with vitamin E or its organic acid ester, and having remarkably improved hair tonic effect of the above active component. CONSTITUTION:The objective hair tonic is produced by compounding (a) a cyclosporin compound known as immunosuppressive agent, preferably cyclosporin A-D or G, etc., especially cyclosporin A and (b) vitamin E such as alpha--eta-tocopherol, etc., or its ester with an organic acid (e.g. acetic acid, succinic acid, nicotinic acid, vitamin A acid, etc.). The amount of the component (a) is 0.001-10wt%, especially 0.01-5wt%, and that of the component (b) is 0.01-10wt%, especially 0.05-5wt%. The weight ratio of (a):(b) is 1:(1-10,000), especially 1:(1-1,000). An excellent hair tonic effect can be attained by the strong hair tonic effect of the component (a) and the action of the component (b) to promote the above hair tonic effect. |
