PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having the improved sharpness of an image and the graininess, and also the improved stability of a proceeding by providing at least one of an auxiliary layer having a nonphotosensitivity and also at least one of layer contg. a prescribed plane silver halide and a specific compd. in a photosensitive emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:The auxiliary layer contg. at least one of the silver halide emulsion having the nonphotosensitivity is provided in the titled material having a red, a green, and a blue sensitisized emulsion layers respectively. And also, at least one of the photosensitive emulsion layer comprises the plane silver halide particle having >=5 an aspect ratio. The project area of the prescribed particle is >=50% the total project area of the silver halide particles in the same prescribed emulsion layer. The prescribed photosensitive emulsion layer comprises at least one of the compds. shown by formulas I-IV wherein M1 is a hydrogen atom, a protective group of a mercapto group; Z, Q1 and Q2 are each an atomic group capable of forming a 5 or 6 membered heterocyclic ring; R1-R4 are each an alkyl, an aryl or an aralkyl group; R5 is an alkenyl group or a heterocyclic ring residue in addition to the same group to those of R1-R4; V is O, S, Se or NH2 group; Y and Z are each a methine, a substd. methine group or a nitrogen atom; M2 is an hydrogen atom or an cation such as an alkaline metal ion. |
