<p>The heat accumulator comprises an essentially prismatic hollow carcass (14) with a bearing plate (10), on which there is installed a prismatic hollow casing (11) which contains the electric resistors (12) and is covered with volcanic rocks (13) which occupy the entire interior of the carcass (14) and serve to absorb the heat emitted by these resistors. Several hollow cylindrical tubes (15) are mounted perpendicularly to the bearing plate (10) and substantially exceed the level of the volcanic rocks (13) so that the air which enters via the lower zone of the bearing plate (10) passes through these tubes (15), heating up, and escapes to the outside via the grille (16) provided on the front face of the accumulator. <IMAGE></p> |
