<p>PURPOSE:To enable the current location to be accurately recognized as the position on a map by making arithmetic processing based on the moving distance, advancing direction and forward-backward tilting angles of an automobile. CONSTITUTION:A bearing detector theta1 outputs the angle where the advancing direction of a car assumes north to an arithmetic unit CPU. A moving distance meter L outputs the measured mileage in the integer of metric unit to an arithmetic unit CPU. A tilting angle detector theta2 outputs the forward and backward tilting angles of the vehicle body with respect to the horizontal plane to the arithmetic unit CPU. The arithmetic unit CPU analyzes these measured results to the x, y components of the plane, makes operations such as addition and subtraction and displays the results in a display device DY.</p> |
