The suspension comprises a resilient component (A) which is held between two fixing parts (1,2) which are spaced from each other in the vibration direction (Z). These fixings are connected together by two elastomer branches (3) which extend in the vibration direction. A mass (M) connects the branches to each other. This mass has the shape of a ring which is arranged around the resilient component so as to have two stop zones (9,10) located near the fixing parts in order to limit their traction displacement.
