PURPOSE:To provide the titled oil having excellent cutting properties, grinding properties, rust prevention, anticorrosion for non-ferrous metals and defoaming properties, which comprises four kinds of particular carboxylic acid alkanolamides. CONSTITUTION:An alkanolamide is obtd. by heating and dehydrating 1mol of carboxylic acid (A) selected from among benzoic acids which may be nucleus- substituted with a 1-18C alkyl (a), phenyl-substituted aliphatic acids of the formula I (wherein R is a 1-18C alkylene or alkenylene) (b), cyclohexylcarboxylic acids which may be nucleus-substituted with a 1-18C alkyl (c), and cyclohexyl-substituted fatty acids of the formula II (d), together with 1-2mol of (di)alkanolamine such as (di)ethanolamine to cause a condensation reaction. If necessary, the alkanolamide is mixed with a mineral oil, fat or oil, an extreme-pressure additive, a surfactant, a defoamer, a metal corrosion inhibition, an antioxidant, etc. |
