PURPOSE:To form a clean image without slipping-off by copying a book with use of its end part as a reference, when copying succeedingly the originals of a book, etc. CONSTITUTION:According as a moving key 30c or 30d is keyed in, a main processor group 71 drives a motor 33 to shift the 1st carriage 411. Then a cursor 53 is moved to a point C from a point B, whereby the actual width y5 of the book can be shown by a fixed scale plate 21 and a scale 53 at the point C. When an operator inputs a copying key 301, the main processor group 71 judges that said operation is the continuous page transfer of a block original in B5 size, and outputs the judgement to a microcomputer 101, thereby moving the 1st and 2nd carriages 411 and 412 to a point E (position deviated by delta2 from the middle of the book) in the direction of a'. Here a distance between points D and E corresponds to the width y1 of an image forming range in B5 size with the scale 53 as a reference. At this time an exposure lamp is controlled to light up by the microcomputer. |
