PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of an unnecessary mode of electromagnetic waves by providing dielectric layers acting as a clad on the surface of a core in longitudinal appendance thereto. CONSTITUTION:The dielectric layers 3a and 3b formed of a suitable dielectric having the specific dielectric constant epsilonr2 lower than the specific dielectric constant epsilonr1 of the core 2 having a rectangular cross section, more preferably porous tetrafluoroethylene resin by an optional and suitable method are provided only on the two surfaces 2a and 2a' in the long side part of said core in longitudinal appendance thereto. Dielectric tapes 4 consisting of a suitable dielectric material, more preferably porous tetrafluoroethylene resin are wound by a required number of turns on the constituting body of the core 2 and layers 3a, 3b formed in the above-mentioned manner. The porous tetrafluoroethylene resin to be used for forming the core 2, the layers 3a, 3b and the tapes 4 is preferably formed by stretching a tetrafluoroethylene resin. |
