PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal reproducing method with which accurate address signals are obtained by shifting an address clock by the estimated deviation of the phase while considering the deviation of the phase of the address clock. SOLUTION: On an optical disk 1, at least one of a land or a groove is used as a recording track and an address region in formed on the boundary line between the land and the groove in accordance with the address clock so that reflected light quantity becomes asymmetrical with respect to the center of the recording track. During reproduction of address signals from the disk 1, the address clock is detected by shifting the phase of the clock by a prescribed amount from a reference signal that includes phase information of the disk 1.
