PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-rotor synchronous machine excellent in reliability with respect to operation and capable of suppressing degradation in efficiency and increase in heating. SOLUTION: A pair of rotors 100 and 200 that are provided with field poles and relatively rotatably and coaxially arranged are placed tandem on a common stator 2 so that the rotors can be relatively rotated in the axial direction. A rotor relative angle adjusting portion 700 mechanically rotates the revolving field vector of the rotor 200 against armature current vector. Thus, motor torque and generated voltage can be significantly varied to a desired level.
