PURPOSE:To form 6 pieces of triangular rice balls at a stroke, by filling cooked rice in a hexagonal mold, and lowering six edges having opening angle of 60 deg.. CONSTITUTION:Cooked rice amounting to 6 pieces of rice balls is filled in a hexagonal mold 3, and 6 pieces of ingredient are pushed into the cooked rice with intervals of 60 deg. using an ingredient insertion apparatus. The mold is transferred under the radially arranged six edges 6, the edges 6 are lowered, and the upper surface of the cooked rice is stamped with a triangular stamper 13 between the edges to form 6 pieces of divided triangular rice balls 7', which are transferred from the hexagonal mold to a conveyor. A plurality of the hexagonal molds 3 are placed with regular intervals along the outer circumference of a circular rotary frame 2 on the radial line of the frame at a definite opening angle, and the rotary frame 2 is rotated intermittently at a specific angle and stopped for a definite period with an intermittently rotating shaft. |
