PURPOSE:To make it unable to start a vehicle when a parking brake is applied preventing the parking brake from being damaged because of careless starting of the vehicle by configurating a device in such a way that a mechanism which keeps a main clutch to be disengaged, is provided, and it functions its holding mechanism when the parking brake is applied. CONSTITUTION:A holding mechanism K which is linked with a main clutch, is composed of an engaging arm 33 which is installed facing forward on a laterally projected rotating shaft 32 which is movably mounted on a body frame 1, and of swing arm 35, on the tip end of which a pin 34 is projected, is installed on the boss 23. And when the engaging arm 33 is swing up, a cutout section 33a at its arm end is engaged with the pin 34 so as to keep a main clutch pedal 12 to be pressed, that is, the condition where the main clutch is disengaged. In addition, an arm 36 in a L like form is installed on the laterally projected rotating shaft 32, and the said arm 36 is connected with an engaging arm 29 by means of a spring 37. This configuration enables the engaging arm 33 to be held when the rear section of the engaging arm 29 is displaced upward. |
