PURPOSE:To enhance safety by making use of the resultant of judgement made for the condition of such items as a vehicle suspension, the closing motion of doors, and the closing action of a main switch as the condition which allows the tilting-up of a handle, i a vehicle where the tilting-up the steering wheel makes a driver get on and off the vehicle with ease. CONSTITUTION:Following means are provided: they are a vehicle suspension judging means 1, an inside door and an outside door closing judging means 2 and 3 which form a judgement for the closing motion of both and inside and an outside door knob, an IG-OFF judging means 4 which forms a judgement as to whether an ignition switch is off or not, and wheel hold judging means 5 which forms a judgement as to whether a steering wheel is held to a desired position in height. Resultants from the above said judging means 1 through 5 are inputted into a steering wheel tilt judging means 6. And when the output from either the said judging means 1, 2, 4, and 5 or the said judging means 1, 3, 4 and 5 permit either No.1 tilt judging means 6a or No.2 tilt judging means 6b to output a wheel tilt judgement signal, a wheel tilting means 7 is designed to be actuated. |
