PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a horizontal articulated carrying device used for the carrying of a thin plate-like work such as liquid crystal board or the like, or the unstable angle attitude of a hand and, in its turn, the impairing of direct advancing property of the work, which are caused by the increase in elongation of a drive force transmitting belt for driving each arm resulted from the elongating directional external force applied to the belt by the recent enlargement of work or higher speed. SOLUTION: In this carrying device, respective arms 21 and 22, 22 and 23 are mutually rotatably supported through the base parts and output parts of deceleration units of deceleration ratio R having the base parts and output parts, respectively, and the input parts of the deceleration units are mutually connected through a belt to transfer the rotation of a drive motor. |
