Reinforced concrete pipes for laying for pressing advance have in a push-over area pipe ends 1, 2 to be inserted one into another. For sealing, a sliding ring seal 4' formed from an elastic material is provided, which is arranged in a groove 3 of one pipe end 2. In order that the irregular forces arising during pressing advance do not lead to displacement of the seal 4', the tube wall merges with the bottom of the groove 3 via an angled or rounded annular region.
