<p>PURPOSE:To convert a phase theta to a position (x) by a storage device with small capacity by using a conversion table storing a difference (X-THETA) between binary data X indicating the position (x) and binary data indicating the phase theta corresponding to the position (x) and finding out the position data X from the sum of the correcting data (X-THETA) and the phase data THETA. CONSTITUTION:At the detection of an (x) coordinate, an AC electric field changing its phase in accordance with the position of the (x) direction is formed on a plane resistor 1 and a signal on the plane resistor 1 is induced to an approached input pen 11. The induced signal is amplified by an amplifier 12, its noise is removed by a filter 13 and the noise-removed signal is inputted to a phase detector 14. The phase detector 14 outputs binary data THETA corresponding to the phase theta of the detected signal to a microcomputer MPU 9 and the conversion table 21. The MPU 9 inputs the correcting data (X-THETA) outputted from the conversion table 21, operates the sum of the correcting data (X-THETA) and the original data THETA to obtain the position data (x).</p> |
