The sensor body (3) has a hollow space in the form of a control channel (9) which extends in the predetermined acceleration direction and a long inertia component (6), under the effect of acceleration, is moved in the control channel from a starting position. There is an additional control channel (8,10) which is inclined relatively to the first and another long inertia component (5,7) is displaceably arranged in the second control channel. Under the effect of the first stage of acceleration, the second component locates and drags with its end in the direction of the first inertia component when the latter moves in the first control channel. At the end of the acceleration stage, the second component engages a recess (17) in the first component, remaining in this engagement under the effect of a lock spring (18). This means that the first component, through this engagement, is retained by the second component, and cannot return to its original position when acceleration ceases. |
