PURPOSE:To reduce deformation of electrodes in the charge-and-discharge cycle of a cell for lengthening its life by mixing a carbon containing carbon fiber with polyolefinic resin for being molded. CONSTITUTION:A carbon containing carbon fiber is added to polypropylene and polyethylene as bromine-proof synthetic resin while being mixed to be formed into an electrode having the prescribed thickness. The electrode to be obtained in this way is excellent in a bromine-proof property while having small electric resistance. Further, mechanical strength is high due to contained carbon fiber while having the extremely small distortion is a charge-and- discharge cycle. Accordingly, a distance between the electrodes is held uniform for a long time, while a flow of an electrolytic liquid is maintained well thus being able to lengthen a cell life. |
