PURPOSE:To surely convey to the next sheet feed position in a copying machine by installing a recording sheet guide member at each of the sides of the post- recording transport path, and by making the internal distance of the incoming part with a dimension wider than the max. width of a recording sheet, and giving the exhaust part and its surrounding a dimension approx. the same as the max. width. CONSTITUTION:When sheets are supplied into this sheet transport device concerned, the leading edge of each sheet P is guided by sheet lead-in members 117, 118 and lead pieces 113b, 114b and inserted in the interior surface of folding of another pair of sheet lead-in members 113. 114. As the interior sides of foldings 113a, 114a are tapered to increase its width toward the tips, eventual erroneous insert of a sheet P or skewing will be corrected by and by so that it runs alongside the interior sides of the tapered foldings 113a, 114a, and thus the sheet comes into sheet guide members 115, 116. Accordingly each sheet P is transported with restriction accurately in the specified transport direction, wherein there is no risk of erroneous transport or any other trouble, and image can be recorded in proper place on the sheet. |
