PURPOSE:To prevent the head striking of a dog clutch and eliminate bad shifting by making reciprocating control for a certain period of time of change gear ratio at the time of belt driving, with a direct connecting gear ratio as a target value. CONSTITUTION:When a change gear ratio (i) is larger than a direct connecting gear ratio i', a third solenoid valve 103 is turned off and an actuator 90 is energized in a non-direct connecting direction and returned. In the reverse case, the actuator 90 is energized in a directly connecting direction. After that, when the change gear ratio (i) get larger than the direct connecting gear ratio i', a hydraulic pressure to a hydraulic pressure chamber 18 is increased to move the actuator 90 to a high pulley ratio side. And, this reciprocating control is repeated for a certain period of time, to combine a dog clutch. Thereby, the dog clutch can be securely engaged by longitudinally moving spline teeth. |
