PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement admixture and a cement composition, each excellent in expansion performance. SOLUTION: This cement admixture is a material obtained by subjecting a CaO raw material, an MgO raw material and a CaSO4 raw material to heat treatment all together and contains free lime, free magnesia and anhydrous gypsum, wherein the free lime content is 30-70% and also, the free magnesia content is 1-30%. This cement composition contains cement and the cement admixture.
